5th Grade Art Project:  Landscape Compare and Contrast Presentation

Art Standards: 25B.1. Identify sensory elements,
organizational principles, and
expressive qualities used in
more than one art form.
2. Examine the same sensory
elements, organizational
principles, and expressive
qualities in two different works
in the same art form.
3. Investigate story, feelings, or
expressive ideas shared in the
work of two different art forms

Common Core - CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.5.7 Draw on information from multiple print or digital sources, demonstrating the ability to locate an answer to a question quickly or to solve a problem efficiently.

Students:
Choose from this page of landscape paintings and drawings- 2 works to compare and contrast.  Use the following terminology and concepts to create a keynote presentation and present it to the class.  
Media (what materials were used),
technique (what ways did the artist use it’s media),
color,
texture,
 line,
composition (placement),
perspective (depth),
context (historical significance),
and expression of mood or feeling the work gives you.

Use visual images and text to make points in presentation.

Should be about 5 minutes or longer up to 10 minutes.
